Ordered 15# crawfish for an event in CO. Although they showed up in a sealed bag and the ice packs had thawed they were in great shape. Probably only lost a pound or a little more but that's to be expected. The crawfish were very clean and big. Flavor was great, I'd order again!

Arrived mostly live. Packed well. These look larger in size but actually meats from body part are mostly regular size. Large claws that are worth of cracking them open for the meat. I buy crawfish from Louisiana quite often. Comparing the two, I like the flavor from Louisiana better.

They eat good! However, 1/4 to 1/3 were dead on arrival, I ordered from you since I figured coming from Oregon vs Louisiana the % dead would hazve been better. It was about the same. Based on the price per pound and the number dead it makes these an expensive item. Would have been nioce to have a seasoning boil mix in package.

First time trying pacific crawfish and I will say they are very different than southern crawfish. Much sweeter meat and so clean! Not a speck of dirt on these guys! Also, out of the 5 lbs I ordered, not one was dead! The only negative was my order had a ton of female craws loaded with eggs and to me they were not very appetizing.

They were fantastic, fully alive (gloves recommended) when they arrived and still two days later when I cooked the last ones.
Different preparations: flambéed with Cognac, with broccolini & snap peas, traditional French chicken with crayfish, filo tartlet with chopped cabbage, mayonnaise and apple, pappardelle with whole crayfish... and of course bisque with thew heads and shells.

We ordered crayfish for our annual Swedish "kräftskiva" again this year after last year's great experience. This time we ordered 7 × 5 lbs for 35 people and were informed by e-fish the day before delivery that they were unable to deliver the ordered quantity due to high demand. Instead, we got 5 × 5 lbs (automatic refund for the rest), which turned out to be sufficient. 26 out of the estimated 400-500 crayfish were dead on arrival. Size ok but not as big as last year.

This is the second year we have ordered Oregon crayfish for our 100 year-old Scandinavian club’s Swedish Kräftskiva (Crayfish Party). Everything went completely smoothly again. Thanks so much! The crayfish are so tasty. In the Swedish style, we boil them in a brine and then let them steep for 24 to 48 hrs. The brine consists of water, porter, dill crowns, salt, sugar, and anise. The crayfish are served chilled. This is an August tradition at the Scandinavian Athletic Club/SAC Park in Shrewsbury, MA. Tack! (FYI 30 lbs yielded 468 crayfish with only 29 doa.)

There many dead crawfish. The ones we got were barely alive. The meat of the crawfish was very soft. The meat was small compared to its shellsize. The shipping itself was smooth. But the packaging of the crawfish was not good. I dont know if I would purchase again.

The crawdads arrived on time and were very well packed. Had only 12 dead in 10 lbs, 24 hrs after reciept, large as well. Rinsed in fresh water about 6 times as they were a bit dirty but they aren't called "mud bugs" for anything. Delicious recipie for "vietcajun" style boil!

Delivered on Thursday morning around 9 spent most of day in shipping package. Placed in storage bin with holes drilled in bottom and placed in bathtub.
Kept ice on them but would let it melt completely and agitate them before adding ice again. Ordered 25lbs and may have lost 25-30 by the time I cooked them on Saturday evening. Weighted them a couple of times and average was about 15-16 per pound so with around 400 and lost of 30 is great. Will be ordering again.

The meat was delicious although held less in the tail compared to their southern counterparts. My son’s girlfriend said she thought they tasted “meatier” and as weird as it sounds, it’s the perfect description. The claws were massive in comparison and we got almost as much meat from them as the tail. The little guys are spiky in places so you’ve got to be more careful but they were great. I will be ordering these again and a perfect filler when you get that craving. Service great. Product was great. Taste was super clean and “meatier”. Enjoy.

The crayfish were a nice size and tasted good. About 2.5 lbs out of the 40 I ordered were dead on arrival or crushed, so I was a little disappointed in that. But the ones that arrived live had good flavor. I will reorder in the future.

All ( but 4 out of around 80) of crawfish were alive.
Taste is very fresh and good.
Cons:
As I counted, the average weight of one crawfish is about 25-30 gramm. In reviews I read It is stated as "Large". In Europe the regularr size of large crawfish is about 100 g ( 4 times larger). I am not sure, If that is possible to get such size crawfish at all. Would be good, If someone suggest where to get really large one .
