Uni was definitely the highlight of my Japanese style New Year’s Food. I liked the flavor better after rested them overnight in a fridge after getting out of the water. It was much richer in flavor.

Love your Uni . This order was thrown away at your instruction because it was six days late in delivery due to bad weather over Christmas. Thank you for replacing it and hopefully it’ll be there before New Year’s.

I prepare and eat uni Over sushi rice, in risotto, and I pasta. This unit is fantastic. I have only recently started buying uni online and have never received it in liquid but the uni I received from this provider is amazing and I am enjoying it. I will be a repeat patron.

I purchased the Love point Oysters, Uni and Kaluga Caviar. We take the oysters and place a few drops of Patron silver Tequila on them. Then we place a half piece of UNI, finely chopped cilantro, and chives, then top them off with the Kaluga Caviar! One of the most amazing things I have ever created and eaten.

Had to get 200 grams just for me!

It was a huge hit at our annual shrimp boil that we put on every Labor Day. There were 15 of at the party and 12 people tried including some that thought would ever try it. The main thing was the texture that was hard to get by for most but taste was amazing. Definitely will purchase again!

First shipment arrived thawed because of UPS delay! No problem, a new shipment was on the way. The Uni arrived beautifully fresh and full of umami. We are one pack fresh with sticky rice and the second with Pasta. Great product, excellent service.

There was an email announcing that delivery would be a day before it actually happened (and another one on the actual day). Delivery was in the morning, and everything was cold. I did have difficulties opening the plastic container, and sent a panicked email for advice, but picked another implement and opened the container before I got the very prompt response. I was especially happy that the smaller 100 gr package was available because I’m not very familiar with uni and wasn’t sure I would like it all that well.

OMG! The uni was so fresh and so tasty!! It came in two little plastic containers, swimming in a bit of salt water which preserved the fresh taste. I ate it with freshly cooked steamed rice. So good! Will definitely order again!

Portion is too small

First time order. Uni were super fresh and delivered on time! Though being myself from Italy and its Mediterranean sea I found these sea urchins more bland in their taste, but they were creamy and delicate. Our are very intense and with lot of taste. The ocean isn't salted as Mediterranean sea so it's normal that the taste is affected, too. I honestly do not understand those recipes that have the Uni prepared with creme Fraiche or othermilky products (sour cream, heavy cream), they overwhelm the already super delicate taste of this item. All you need is a great Italian EVO, little garlic, Calabrian chili and parsley. The best use of this specific item is the fresh sushi, not even to use with the soy sauce or wasabi which, again would overwhelm the delicate taste. I recommend this product mainly for raw sushi.

Top rated product quality and delivery

The uni was super fresh and having all the uni to myself seemed like such a treat :) One of the containers chipped a little when it was sent to me so the saltwater spilled out but I ate that container first and there was no impact to the taste. Would definitely order again. I like how the fishermen don't go fishing until the order is placed but does mean that sometimes your order won't be available on an specific date.

The UNI was fresh & whole pieces swimming it seemed in sea-water. PERFECT! Had it three ways; on a spoon with caviar, on a spoon with just aged soy & a twist of lemon & UNI toast on a French baguette slice with a lemon-chili oil aioli!

Each 100 gram tub contained mostly nice whole pieces, more that you ever get in a 5 slot tray. We got 10 whole pieces per tub, plus some pieces of pieces. Good for a bunch of uni shooters (sake, tobiko, a touch of green Tabasco, quail egg). Down as a shot. Ummmmm good! We liked this new Ensui form of delivery.

Ordered this beautiful Santa Barbra Uni and it arrived in a flash. So well packed and fresh, was delighted to find it from the folks at E-Fish. Served it once a "just Uni" and the next night added it to a pasta dish. this Uni was remarkably sweet and soft and fresh. If you like Uni you gotta order yourself some of this.

There’s fresh sea urchin I can buy at the Japanese grocery store in my city but I wanted to see how fresh it is ordering from E-fish since it’s much more convenient.
