The vision of Ashley's Seafood began in 2013 when my husband Travis worked as a deckhand for the local fishing vessel (F/V) during the Dungeness Crab season.

We fell in love with commercial fishing but were frustrated that our local catch often wasn't available locally. That was the start of our mission to connect our communities directly with the local fleet.

In 2019 we purchased our own boat, the F/V Sandy B, and relocated to Woodley Island Marina where our dreams took flight selling our catch at our local farmers markets.

That October we merged with Cap'n Zach's Crab House which provided a space to operate from and enables us to provide the best seafood available direct from the boats.

We aren't just building a retail business. We're developing a community where people can connect with us and the other local fishermen and women to know exactly where and from who their food is coming from.
