Fresh and tasty, I typically salt it for about 15 mins then clean and keep in fridge to "dry age" it for a couple of day before I eat them as sashimi or nigiri.

The halibut was super fresh and delicious, both raw and cooked (sous vide in butter). I would have preferred thicker pieces, but not a big deal.

This arrived on schedule and opening the package I found pristine beautiful halibut fillets. Just gorgeous fish lightly scented of the open ocean. I served this 3 ways over the weekend.... the best two were baked with a crawfish sauce - the sweetness of the crawfish paired perfectly with the halibut. Also served it roasted over potatoes with a very light butter and saffron sauce. The few leftover pieces were added to a arroz caldosa.
Highly recommend this fish, it is mild, easy to prepare and delicous.

This halibut was fresh and delicious. The only struggle I had was with it’s thick skin still on. I don’t eat fish skin and was likely part of the weight I paid for? Regardless it was very very good!

The fish tasted great. I would prefer, rather than a filet from a small fish, a thicker portion from a bigger fish or a 4 pound filet from one fish. Is there a safety issue with bigger fish? Or a taste difference? Here on the MS Gulf Coast, our flat fish is the flounder.

Halibut is really good nice and meaty put it on bbq grll. Grilled up nice didn't fall apart at all very good

A little butter, olive oil. Garlic salt, parsley. Pan fryed, it was excellent! Any tips on opening Oysters? They look good also, keeping them cold. The Abalone looks good. Cut and pound tomorrow. Thanks!
