As the first company in the world to smoke fish roe and the only currently to truly cold-smoke it, we have been able to perfect the balance of smoke to make this a consistent party pleaser. It is lightly seasoned with sea salt and naturally “super cold-smoked” in our facility using wood chips from aged Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon barrel wood staves. Sourced from the deep cold waters of the northern Pacific Ocean surrounding Alaska. The salmon from this region are prized for producing caviar with larger, firmer beads. This high quality Ikura product is clean and explodes with juicy sweet-ness and the flavor of the sea, a perfect treat for the discriminating sushi enthusiast.
